Viagra, the “Little Blue Pill” Turns 10

April 10th, 2008 by admin . #comments">No Comments

Viagra turns 10 on March 27, 2008. On March 27, 1998, the Food and Drug Administration gave the pharmaceutical company Pfizer the go-ahead to sell what would become one of the world’s best-known pills.
Viagra is an oral medication for erectile dysfunction (ED). It helps most men with ED improve their erections. That means they are able to achieve harder erections. Getting an erection is only half the story; maintaining an erection is just as important as getting one. Viagra helps with getting an erection and maintaining one. This can lead to a more satisfying sexual experience with your partner.
In Viagra’s first month on the market, doctors wrote more than 500,000 prescriptions. The drug has been a long-term boost for Pfizer’s profits. Last year, it brought the pharmaceutical giant more than $1.7 billion.

Who can take Viagra
Men of all ages
Men who have difficulty all the time or just some of the time
Men with other health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression

Don’t just take Viagra, speak to your doctor. He/She can tell you if you have ED and can recommend an effective treatment.
